identification: Medium tending to large. Oblong-conic. The base colour is yellowish green over wich is a deep red wash covering almost all of the surface, although it tends to be lighter on the shaded surfaces where there are flushes and stripes. Moderately abundant light-coloured lenticels. The stem is long and slender, set in a deep and narrow cavity.
characteristics: The flesh is cream coloured, juicy and sweet, slightly tart.
origins: A cross of Fuji with pollen from Jonathan developed at the Morioka Experiment Station of the National Institute of Fruit Tree Science in Morioka (Japan). Released in 1985.
