identification: Medium tending to large size. Conic. The skin base colour is yellow but almost comletely washed with bright red and darker stripes. Marked with abundant small, inconspicuous, small lenticels. The stem is somewhat short and moderately stout, set in a narrow and wide, russeted cavity. The eye varies between closed and half closed and is set in a moderately deep, usually puckered basin.
characteristics: The flesh is cream coloured, fine?grained and crisp. Juicy and sweet, slightly tart and spicy. Keeps up to three months in cold storage.

cultivation: Moderately vigorous. Ready for harvest in the middle of the FOURTH period.
