Gunma Meigetsu

identification: Large, round tending to conic. The base colour is greenish-yellow, blushed crimson on the sun exposed face.
characteristics: The flesh is white, fine-grained and dense, crunchy. Juicy and sweet with a slight sprightliness.
origins: Developed from a cross of Akagi with pollen from Fuji at the Gunma Horticultural Experiment Station in Gunma (Japan). Released in 1991.
