identification: Medium, sometimes tending to large. Round conic, lightly ribbed on the faces. Green base colour, often blushed pink on the sun exposed face. Light-coloured lenticels. The stem is somewhat long and slender, set in a medium deep, funnel-shaped cavity which is usually lightly russetted. The calyx is small and tightly closed, set in a shallow and small basin.
characteristics: The flesh is cream coloured. Firm. Moderately juicy and aromatic. Resists browning when exposed to air.
origins: Originated in South Africa.
cultivation: Partial tip bearer.
harvest: Ready for harvest late in the fourth period.
