identification: Medium tending to large size. Round with no indication of ribbing. Base colour of the smooth, somewhat thick skin is yellow over which is a deep, red wash that covers about half of the total surface; some striping. The calyx is closed and set in a moderately shallow and wide basin. The stem is long and slender, set in a deep and wide cavity.
characteristics: The flesh is cream coloured. Firm and juicy, aromatic.
origins: Developed in 1991 by Olivier Gard in Hérault, France, this is a cross of Christmas Rose x Gradigold.
cultivation: Vigorous. Semi-upright growth habit. Bears fruit on shoots and spurs.
