characteristics: The flesh is cream coloured, fine grained, firm. Keep six months in cold storage.
origins: Believed to be a chance seedling from a cross of Granny Smith and Golden Delicious. South Africa. Introduced in 1975.
cultivation: Very vigorous. precocious. Ready for harvest early in the FOURTH period.
notes: Fruit is similar to Granny Smith, except ripens 2 weeks earlier
