identification: Large, ovate with ribbed sides and ridged at the crown, giving it a knobby appearance. The skin is dull green yellow with darker yellow blush and some streaks of crimson on the sun exposed face. Patches and lines of russet are found across the whole apple as are pale lenticels, usually sunken. On the sun exposed face, the lenticels may be reddish. The stem is short and stout, set in a deep and wide, russeted cavity.
characteristics: The flesh is greenish, tender, soft and juicy. Sprightly and aromatic.
