identification: Medium to large, round and often irregular. The base colour is yellow, washed pink on the sun?exposed face and marked with darker stripes. The stem is long, moderately stout and set in a wide and irregularly shaped cavity. The eye is closed and set in a very shallow basin.
characteristics: The flesh is pale yellowish, somewhat soft. Juicy, sharp with a lemony aroma. Keeps three months in cold storage.
