synonyms: Originally marketed as Jubilee, but that name refers to a Canadian cultivar developed in 1926 by crossing McIntosh with Grimes Golden. Now marketed as September Wonder.
summary: This Washington U.S.A. whole-tree mutation of Yataka ripens five weeks ahead of the Fuji standard and shows better colouring. Found by Myles Van Leuven near Prescott, Washington State in 1992. His first observation was that it was well ahead of the other trees in the block; two weeks ahead of the Yataka strain and five weeks ahead of the standard Fuji. The apples also had a more intense blush than the Yataka strain.
