identification: Medium size. Bright green, sometimes with a brownish blush on the sun-exposed face.
characteristics: The flesh is white. Tart, similar to the Granny Smith.
origins: Developed at the Delbard Pepinières International in Malicorne, in the Allier Department of Central France. Founded by Georges Delbard in the mid-1900s and continued by his sons since the late 1900s, the focus of its apple breeding programme has been to develop disease-resistant cultivars.
cultivation: Upright, slender-spindle growth habit, but needs pruning to maintain its shape. Grows to about three metres in height and will tolerate being cultivated in pots of sufficient size. Suitable for growing in small gardens and on terraces.

harvest: Ready for harvest starting in the last half of the fourth period and continuing to the middle of the fifth.
