The base colour is greenish-yellow, washed red on the sun-exposed faces and marked with a dense pattern of darker stripes and an abundance of light coloured lenticels. The calyx is large and open, set in a shallow, wide and rippled basin. The stem is short and stout, set in a shallow but narrow cavity.
characteristics: The flesh is white, coarse-grained and crisp. Sweet, rich with nutty flavour.
