identification: Medium size, round to round conic. Green base colour is flushed red. Frequently russeted at the stem cavity and extending across the shoulder onto the faces. Cracking is common.
origins: Somerset 1800s
cultivation: Vigorous, medium large, upright spreading spur bearer. Precocious. Tends to bear best every other year.
cold storage: Needs to be used soon after harvest.
harvest: Starting at the beginning of the fifth period. The fruit tends to drop as soon as it is ripe.
notes: Its pollen is not compatible with Dabinett.
