identification: Large, round conic. Yellow base colour washed with a reddish pink and marked with red stripes which are most intense at the shoulder. The eye is moderately large, open and surrounded by a irregular crown. The stem is short and stout, set in a shallow, open cavity which is often russeted with rays extending onto and even over the shoulder. Light brown, sparse lenticels. Character of the
