identification: Medium size to large. Short conical and asymmetric, ribbed and somewhat crowned. Completely blushed dark red, some russet around the stem cavity, medium size lenticels. No bloom or greasy feel.
uses: Dessert apple.
origins: Discovered as a limb mutation of Braeburn in 1994 at Nelson (New Zealand).
harvest: Ripens three to five days after Braeburn.
notes: Entire crop tends to be evenly coloured.
