identification: Small, round and flattened. The skin is yellow and marked with a thing and grey russeting which is especially dense around the base.The stalk is short.
characteristics: The flesh is greenish, very firm, crisp and juicy. Brisk. Lasts four months in cold storage.
uses: An excellent dessert apple.
origins: Warwickshire (UK), it was frequently sold in nurseries under the name Stone Pippin.
cultivation: Small tree. Bears good crops annually.
ploidism: Self sterile.
