identification: Medium size, round conic. Greenish base colour washed red and marked with deep red lenticels. The stem is short and stout and set in a set in a wide cavity which is heavily russeted. The calyx is partly closed, small and set in a shallow basin, surrounded by a five-knobbed crown.
characteristics: The flesh is ivory coloured, tender and fine-grained. Juicy, sweet and aromatic.
