summary: Found by Robert Banning in 1997 at East Wenatchee, Washington (U.S.A.), as a limb mutation of Imperial Gala . Almost completely washed intense red over which are pronounced wide, dark red stripes. Yellow, small, oblong lenticels. Rarely russeted. Produces heavy annual crops and needs early thinning to maintain commercial size.
