identification: Medium to largesize and oblong conical in shape. Golden yellow base colour almost entirely covered with a bright red flush.
characteristics: Flesh is cream coloured, crisp and juicy. Fruity and sweet in flavour. Pick as late as possible for full flavour.
cultivation: Moderately vigorous upright spreading spur bearer. Produces good crops annually and fruit hangs well. Can be harvested at the middle of the second period.
