identification: Medium to large size, round to round conic. The base colour is yellow over which is a deep red purplelish wash over the sun exposed half of the apple. Short, broken red stripes are visible where the wash and base colour come together. The eye is large and open set in a somewhat shallow basin. The stem is short and set in a medium depth cavity which is lightly russeted.
