characteristics: The flesh is pale yellow. Crisp. Tart and flavourful.
origins: An open pollinated-seedling of Antonovka developed at Agriculture Canada's Dominion Experimental Farm in Rosthern, Saskatchewan (Canada). Released 1936. No information on the identity of the pollen parent.
cultivation: Vigorous, upright spreading growth habit. Produces heavy crops on an annual basis. Hardy to Zone 3.
cold storage: Does not store well.
vulnerabilities: Resistant to fire blight.
harvest: Ready for picking halfway through in the fourth period.
