identification: Medium tending to large, Round sometimes with angular sides. The base colour is green over which is a red blush on the sun exposed face.The eye is semi open and medium size in a shallow basin. The stem is short and somewhat slender, knobbed and st in a rather shallow, funnel shaped, russeted cavity.
characteristics: The flesh is cream coloured, firm and tender. Juicy, sharp, with a good flavour.

origins: Developed in 1936 at the Horticultural Research Station, Alnarp, Sweden by pollinizing Belle de Boskoop (flower) with Filippa (pollen). It was introduced in 1954.
cultivation: Spreading. Slow to start fruiting. Produces heavy crops annually.
