identification: Medium size tending to large and even very large, intermediate conic. Green, sometimes with a faint brownish red blushon the sun exposed face. The eye is medium size, not quite open andset in a shallow and narrow basin, surrounded by a well defined crown. The stem is short, moderately stout and set in a deep, funnel shaped cavity which is often russeted. The eye is medium size, closed or partly open with long sepals, set in a wide and shallow basin. Tends to develop a greasy feel at maturity
characteristics: The flesh is greenish, coarse-textured and firm. Moderately juicy and quite tart.
