Identification: Medium size, glossy skin. Washed red with light coloured lenticels. The stem is set in a russetted cavity.

Characteristics: The flesh is firm. Sweet with just a hint of tartness and fruity flavour. Thick skin.

Uses: Dessert apple also used for commercial juice production.

Origins: Developed by the Institut für Obstforschung Dresden-Pillnitz (Germany) by crossing Clivia with pollen from a scab resistant seedling of one of 17 Re-cultivars (known as ReZista in North America) developed as part of this programme.

Cultivation: Weakly vigorous. Flowers tolerate late frosts.

Ploidism: Diploid. Self sterile.
