Identification: Medium to large. Round. The base colour is yellow over which is a pattern of red stripes. The stem is short and moderately thick, set in a moderately shallow, open cavity. The calyx is very large and open, set in a shallow and wide basin. Some russeting can occur in and around the cavity. At maturity, the skin develops a greasy feel.

Characteristics: The flesh is cream coloured and resists browning when exposed to air. Firm, coarse-grained and crisp. Moderately juicy, sweet with a bit of tartness. Tends to become starchy.

Origins: Chance seedling of Delicious. Washington (U.S.A.) 1992.

Cultivation: Moderately vigorous, spreading with an open canopy. Precocious. Tolerant of late frost.

Ploidism: Diploid. Self sterile.
