Identification: Very large, conical with prominent ribs, and pronounced ridges around the eye. The skin is greenish yellow maturing to lemon yellow with greenish patches. The stalk in short and slender set in a deep funnel shaped cavity. A patch of green usually surrounds the stalk and cavity.

Characteristics: The flesh is white, very tender and sprightly.

Uses: A highly prized cooking apple.
