Identification: Medium size, round to round-conic. The base colour is greenish yellow over which is a pale pink flush, marked with small russet lenticels. The calyx is small and closed, set in a shallow, narrow basin. The stem is short, slender, set in a deep and narrow, russet cavity.

Characteristics: The flesh is yellow, firm. Juicy, sweet sharp and honeyed.

Origins: Developed in 1959 at the Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique in Angers (France) by crossing Golden Delicious with pollen from the Reinette Clochard. Released in 1971.

Cultivation: Vigorous. Produces heavy crops

Ploidism: Triploid. Does not produce viable pollen for other apple trees.
