Identification: Medium size, round to round conic shape. Base colour is yellow over which is a red wash that covers almost all of the surface. The skin is smooth. Short stem. The calyx is small set in a deep basin

Characteristics: The flesh is yellowish, coarse grained. Juicy, sweet. Moderately flavourful.

Uses: Used for fresh eating but recommended for cider.

Origins: Grown in the Brittany region of northwestern France.
