Identification: Large, round. The base colour is yellow over which is a dense pattern of muddy red stripes. Tiny light coloured lenticels. The stem is long and slender, set in a medium cavity which is russetted. The basin is moderately deep, the calyx closed.

Characteristics: The flesh is yellow, fine-grained and tender. Juicy slightly tart and somewhat spicy.
