Identification: Medium size. Round flattened. Yellow washed red and lightly marked with russet.

Characteristics: The flesh is ????, Crisp, firm. Juicy. Very sweet and pleasantly tart. Aromatic.

Uses: Intended as a supermarket eating apple.

Origins: Developed at the Forschungsanstalt Agroscope Changins (Switzerland) by crossing Gala with pollen from Maigold.

Cultivation: Moderately vigorous, upright spreading. Precocious. Annual harvests but needs to be thinned at fruit set.

Ploidism: Self sterile. Group D. Day 12.

Harvest: Starting late in the third period until the middle of the fourth period. Problems:Somewhat susceptible to scab and mildew, very susceptible to canker.
